Stumptown Stages continues its 2025-26 Musical Season with the Tony Award winning musical PIPPIN.
Stumptown Stages musical production of Stephen Schwartz musical, PIPPIN begins performances at Portland'5 Centers for the Arts Winningstad Theatre on Friday January 23rd.
Before WICKED: FOR GOOD - there was PIPPIN! From the composer of WICKED, PIPPIN takes us on its own journey down the "yellow brick road" of life! Filled will laughter, merriment, and amazing songs and dances! Come see why this Tony Award winning musical is a hit with all ages!!
The cast includes: Diego Solan Kjelland as Pippin, Lydia Fleming as Leading Player, Susannah Mars as Berthe, Corrine Michelle Maddox as Catherine, Kaylie Haas as Fastrada, Casey Lebold as King Charlemagne, Steven Hrubes as Lewis, and Cameron James and Coleman Casebeer as Theo, Sonya Fischer, Ella Rose Matweyou, Jeff George, Casey Keidar, Annabeth Kerr, Julie June Heffner, Dani Trinidad Neblock, Kelsey Nisbett, Jonathon Dean Royse, and Anna Prosser.
Produced by Stumptown Stages, PIPPIN is directed and choregraphed by Jeff George, music direction by Kent Wilson, scenic design by Steve Coker, lighting design by Demetri Pavlatos, sound design by Marcus Storey, projection design by Patrick Nims, costume design by Raquel Calderon, wig and make-up design Pamela Whitchurch and stage managed by Patrick Browne.
With a beautiful score, including Magic To Do, Corner of the Sky, Simple Joys, With You, Spread a Little Sunshine, Morning Glow, The Right Track, Kind of Woman, Ordinary Life, Extraordinary, Love Song, I Guess I’ll Miss the Man.
